Update: School aide resigns because of previous job

Not too long ago we told you the story of Louisa Tuck, a part-time cafeteria and playground aide at an elementary school in Vineland, NJ. Her previous career caused controversy for the school district.

Tuck worked in the adult film industry under the name Crystal Gunns.

When parents and school officials found out, the school board president wanted to fire her.

But lawyers told the district there was no legal reason to end her employment at the school.

Now, Tuck has resigned from her job.

She issued a one-sentence letter of resignation to the school district, stating that she was “resigning in good standing.” The letter didn’t list a reason why she decided to leave the job.

The school superintendent said the district didn’t demand her resignation.

Tuck also works as a supervisor for children’s programs at the Vineland YMCA. The Y’s executive director told the Courier Post she is still employed there.

Tuck’s resignation isn’t official until the school board gets to vote on it at its next scheduled meeting Jan. 21. Tuck could change her mind and rescind the resignation up to that date.

  1. Mary Says:

I guess you have to ask how they found out about her previous employment. Someone had to be watching

  2. John Says:

Mary, you’re right. Someone WAS watching and from the looks of things, Louisa Tuck aka Crystal Gunns, it’s hard NOT to see her! Wow!

  3. AL GILMOUR Says:

THE SCHOOL SUPT DID NOT DEMAND HER RESIGNATION BUT I AM SURE HE IS WIPING HIS BROW SAYING “THANKS FOR VOL RESIGNING, BECAUSE MY TEAM DID NOT DO THEIR JOB IN BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION”. NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT HER QUALITY OF WORK WHILE SERVING IN HER POSITIONS. IF I WERE LOUISA TUCK I WOULD RESCIND MY RESIGNATION.
EVERYBODY HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES FOR THE BETTER AND LET THE PASS BE GONE, HOWEVER WHEN A BUNCH OF TWO FACED STIFF NECKS (NORMALLY FOUND IN EDUCATION EMPLOYMENT) WANT TO FIND YOU GUILTY WITHOUT TRIAL THEY NEED TO BE PUT IN THEIR PLACE ETC. I ALSO AGREE WITH THE ABOVE COMMENTS AS TO HOW DID THEY DISCOVER HER PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT WORLD.?
