Teens add motor to office chair

A sure sign that it’s late on a Friday afternoon is when workers set up office chair races. Two teenagers in Germany have taken that office tradition to another level.
German police in the town of Gross-Zimmern have confiscated the world’s fastest office chair.
Two 17-year-olds added a lawnmower engine, bicycle brakes and a metal frame to the chair, creating something close to a go-cart.
The teens told police they had only tested the chair for a few meters, but witnesses reported seeing it on several streets, according to wire service reports.
The inventive teens face charges such as defying insurance regulations, driving without a license and violating registration requirements.
No word from police on how fast the chair-car could go.
