A postal employee in Frankfurt, Germany, said he was too tired to work many days. Result: more than 20,000 pieces of mail found in his home.
The delivery man was caught when a neighbor alerted police. The neighbor reported the postman was stuffing undelivered mail into the garbage.
When police searched his house they found bags and boxes full of undelivered mail. Police say a conservative estimate is that the postman hoarded more than 20,000 pieces of mail since August 2007.
Two vans were needed to remove the mail from his house.
The 23-year-old told police he got behind with deliveries because of his night school studies and that he felt too tired to catch up.
Police note that the postman didn’t deliver mail addressed to himself either.

The bigger question is, “Did they fire him?” Probably since he was a government employee, they gave him a slap on the hand and some counseling.

Larry, if reading these articles gets you so upset, maybe you should quit reading them. I am not saying there shouldn’t have been disciplinary action, but you seem to respond to every article with negativity.
