We hope the eight breakfast sandwiches Sgt. Christopher Stahl stole from a Quick Chek store in Rockaway, NJ, were really good — because they cost him his job.

Stahl pleaded guilty to theft for stealing the sandwiches which were worth $29.45.

Under his sentence from state Superior Court, Stahl will have to pay $100 and he loses his job.

Prosecutor Robert Bianchi said this case shows “the fact that no one is above the law.”

Defense attorney Edward Bilinkas said Stahl “made a mistake and has taken responsibility.”

Cops who steal are either arrogant, stupid or sick. Fix with a Liberal Dose of Humility, enrollment in The School of Common Sense and a good therapist.

While admittedly a small amount, it shows courage on account of the PD.

Was the store out of doughnuts?

Quite an example from whom represents an entity that we e supposed to trust and depend on for our safety, and be a good example for our communities. That doesn’t inspire any respect.

    Amazing!
