‘My wife wants me to get my job back’

Greg Nance resigned from the Nevada State Board of Education in August. Now he says he wants his job back because his wife wants him to have the prominent position.
It was Nance’s wife who caused commotion in the first place.
He resigned after complaints about how he ignored a policy discussion at a public meeting by cooing with his new 20-year-old wife of 12 days.
When a colleague complained that his wife shouldn’t have been seated with Nance at the board table, he replied, “Bite me.”
“I’ve decided to rescind my resignation on the grounds that my wife wants me to be an elected official in the state of Nevada,” Nance told the Review-Journal.
The governor has officially declared Nance’s former seat to be vacant. It’s too late for Nance to rescind his resignation, and it’s up to the governor to appoint his replacement.

It is amazing that a person who behaved in this manner was on the Board of EDUCATION in the first place. And we wonder why our kids can’t read!

Ditto to what Allison had to say. What a moron! And to think he could get his job back cause his wife wanted him to have the prominent position??? His remark “Bite me” to a colleague who complained his wife shouldn’t have been seated at the board table sure came back & “Bit” him real good. Good riddance to Nance.
