why is this a problem? that woman probably was a more aware driver with faster reaction time because of the crack smoking. I personally know several people, two of which are phds, who smoke crack on a regular basis and are very happy and productive people. But I guess that means they're really addicts in denial? It would be totally fine to go binge drink at happy hour until you're retarded drunk with the hr and sales people though, right?

I would have thought a federal agency like the United States Post Office has a very active drug testing program. I can't believe that her performance hasn't been questioned in the past; let's face it, 10 years of cocaine use will take a toll on your performance such as attendance, work performance, personal days off, etc. Was a reasonable suspicion drug test considered by her supervisor? Maybe wall-to-wall testing should be done starting with upper management and going all the way to the last new hire?!

How about not putting her in prison and putting her in a rehab she admits that she is a addict and has been one for years I believe that a six month to a year rehab would be the best punishment and mandatory NA meetings
