Workplace signs have increasingly moved toward pictographs so that their messages may be communicated to people who don’t read English. As one blogger shows on his Web site, not all of these pictographs are works of art, and some are just plain funny.

Town doesn’t like calendar with pictures of its firefighters nearly nude

Scores of nonprofits have used calendars with nearly nude, average people as fundraisers for the last decade. But for one Long Island town, it decided a similar calendar started by some of its employees was too much.
